Top Load High Efficiency Washers
Wed Aug 12 2015
Traditionally, top load washers are considered ineffective water guzzling machines. For this reason, 5 years ago, front load washers dominated the market for being more efficient, reliable, user-friendly as well as budget friendly. The big difference is that top load washers will float clothes in water, moving them around with a pole-style agitator. Front load washers, on the other hand, will rotate the drum a few degrees to agitate clothes. To reconcile the differences between these two types of washers, a new style of washer was introduced which has impressed a lot of consumers. These washers combine the functionality of a front loader with the styling of a traditional top loader.
No Agitator
Unlike the traditional top loaders, high efficiency usually means no agitator in the middle. This feature allows for more clothes and performs more efficiently.
Bigger Loads
Because they have no agitator inside, they can fit more. It can accommodate larger loads and bulkier items, like comforters. It's cleaning performance is comparable to front loaders. You can get heavier loads of laundry done faster!
Energy Saver
They use less water as it only fills part-way to allow room for the load to tumble, which translates to energy savings! High-speed spin cycles remove more water from the load, resulting in shorter drying times. Eventually you save a lot of money on water and electricity but at the same time help the environment as well.
Long Term Financial Savings
While you'll pay more than a traditional top load model, if you don't opt for lots of extras and high-tech design, you'll still find it quite affordable and eventually just a little lighter on your wallet.
