Bought this to replace an older GE food processor (had for 15 years) after we broke the lid. Tried another brand and hated it so went searching for GE brand again. Love the large capacity and the smaller inside bowl for smaller loads. The extra blades are great for multi purposes.

I usually love & have good luck with GE products. We really needed a replacement food processor and after many hours of researching, we decided to go with this model. I love that it has more power & a mini bowl. I mistakenly assumed you’d be able to shred into the smaller bowl; you can’t, only chop. What I’m really disappointed in is the size of the round blades. They are very sharp, but are too small in diameter. They do not go all the way to the rim of the bowl. This allowed many large pieces of carrots and onions we tried to shred to be flung to the side and not get shredded. Our next test is making a pie crust.
