washer worked fine for about a month. washer started getting louder and louder during the spin cycle. after several months with all the doors closed in the house the dryer's spin cycle was so loud you could hear it outside. repairman found the unit could not be repaired and a replacement must be sent. samsung would not replace but offered a refund certificate. after several weeks no refund certificate was received so i had to buy a new washer even though the old one was under warranty. do not buy.

washer worked great for a couple of months and started getting louder and louder during the spin cycles. repairman came out and said the tub was completely disconnected from the unit and that the unit needed to be scrapped. at least it was still under warranty and samsung is going to replace the unit. don't know if i just received a defective unit but can't imagine that a washer used once a week for just two people would possibly fail in such a short period of time.
