We have had our pedestals for 8 years. They are terrific. They place the units at a comfortable height and the drawers are perfect for storing laundry-related stuff.

Bought brand new Maytag washer and these pedestals. Dryer fits, front to back, but washer is 2" deeper and so hangs over the back of the pedestal by 2". Seems to work and I cannot find another Maytag pedestal with deeper dimension so I guess I will keep and hope it does not cause any imbalance in washer action.

We had to replace a Maytag 3000 series washer. I was hoping the old pedestal would work on the new one but it didn't fit the new one. I ordered this one and when I received it, it has almost the same dimensions as the old one. When this one is mounted, it does not fit perfectly like the old washer. The old brand was flush in the back. The back of the new washer has a two inch overhang over the pedestal. The front however does match up with the front of the washer. I thought I would have to return it because it was two inches shorter in depth but it does work.
