i have had this dryer for about 17 months and it makes a thumping noise which is a cracked and out of round drum. this is a known problem with these dryers but customer service didn't seem to care and said i would have to pay for repairs. never going to entertain buying samsung products again.

i purchased this dryer brand new and it lasted less than 2 years before the motor went out on it. dryer only came with a 1 year warranty, so all repair costs to replace motor were out of pocket. this will be my last samsung appliance.

We have always had Samsung laundry equipment. After 15 years, we decided to get more efficient machines. Of course, we got Samsung. Never disappointed. New features, much more efficient machines. The dryer now dries quicker and more efficiently. Still a good value, years later.
