Putting out way too mich heat

We just had this oven installed in a new home. There is so much heat coming from the vent under the bottom oven that i have to turn my air down and ceiling fans on to cook more than 10 minutes in the bottom oven. Also while the oven door stays completely cool for my grandbabies hands, the vent is piping hot as is the cabinet drawer, and contents, under it. Maytag has arranged for repair people twice but the response is that it seems to work as designed. Serious flaw. I will not be cooking many turkey dinners.

I think I'm going to love it in the long run. My reason for not giving a 5 star rating is based on the fact that it came with a faulty convection motor. It had to be replaced because it literally screamed when turned on. I received quick service to replace the motor. I look forward to putting the oven to work. I love to cook big meals and bake desserts!

We purchased four appliances. All are attractive and function well. I bowled a pot and when the water boiled over the fan automatically started and a buzzer warned me. I love that they are made in USA.

Terrible design flaw with the cooling fan. Has a super loud whistle thru the ducting. They are unable to repair it and I cannot return it. Now I am stuck with a dud unit.
