Samsung Refuses To Correct A Defective Product

less than 6 months old and this this already has a discolored burner and has ruined a 350 dollar set of calphalon pots and pans. after verifying with both calphalon and samsung that these pots and pans were not only compatible but “recommended”. the cooktop right front burner failed to turn off and actually melted them. twice so far i've had to run to the basement and turn the circuit breaker off in order to shut the burner off. i bought this cooktop along with a full set of samsung appliances for my kitchen. i have been disappointed in every appliance i bought. from the fridge, to the dishwasher to the microwave and finally this cooktop. samsung should be ashamed to market this garbage.

So overall it's a great stove. The features are there, the safety features are nice as well. Having 5 burners plus functions for melting and simmering is a godsend for cooking as well. A few issues I had with the product really all come down to the touch controls. Its just too sensitive. If you get a bit of water on the controls the whole stove shuts off and if something hits the power button the whole thing turns off. It's nice having the touch controls, but if something is on them like a liquid, it should maybe just lock that control until it's wiped.
